The Grove
Living and Leading with Resilience
The Grove is an intentional community space where work is not the center, but part of a whole life.
Are you ready to live and work differently?
The Grove is an intentional community for leaders, academics, and professionals interested in reshaping how they live, work, and lead. We are rooted in the belief that lasting transformation in chaotic times begins internally, in relationship with the natural world, and through creative exploration. Each session offers practical tools and real conversations that help you return to yourself and reshape how you show up in your work and life.
We believe that true transformation begins in the body, is sustained through connection to others and the natural world, and unfolds in cycles, not straight lines. Here we honor the wisdom of slowing down, listening inward to open up outward, and creating a path to living and working with more ease, wholeness, and collective care. We do this season by season, each at our own pace and in our own authentic ways, held collectively and creatively.
The Grove offers you dedicated pauses in your work week for steady support, deep reflection, and communal accountability without pressure or performative urgency.
Whether you're navigating career changes, redefining your relationship to work, or repatterning toward a more spacious and values-centered way of being, this gathering place is for you. You deserve to shift out of survival mode. You deserve to feel deeply alive and connected!
The Grove is a grounded gathering place where folks come together in authenticity and mutual interest. Some show up every week. Others drop in when life or work allows. All are welcome in the cycle because you know what’s best for you.
Why Join The Grove?
At first, joining might feel like “just one more thing” on your calendar with additional to-dos.
But these are the spaces that replenish you, shift your perspectives into greater ease, and help you move forward with more clarity and energy because you’ll leave with new tools and strategies. These gatherings are invitations back to your true self. The self that is waiting for you to reclaim wholeness and put your career in its correct place (psst: which isn’t in the center of your life).
Inside The Grove, you’ll have access to seasonal and current issue workshops, reflective gatherings with guided practices and prompts, creative tools, and career strategies that support your evolving relationship with work, time, and living. I’ve spent my careers working with kickass ambitious academics, educators, leaders and professionals who all share this in common: their old patterns of overing keeps them stuck from living the life of impact they want.
One of those overing patterns is believing that you have to forge this journey alone. That type of hyper-independence and go-getter-ness is the exact bullshitery that keeps you from living a life you love that includes a career you’re proud of. You deserve support that offers you greater ease and momentum as well as validation and genuine camaraderie.
"I just want to say thank you so much—I honestly felt like I could cry. I need this [Grove community call] so desperately. I’ve been job hunting for a while, and it hasn’t been going well. In the last workshop, your reminder that ‘maybe you can’t leave your job right now, so you have to figure out how to pivot where you are’ really hit home for me.
Being able to go into my calendar and plug in The Grove sessions immediately gave me hope. It feels like the structure and accountability I’ve been missing. Mondays are usually tough for me. I work from home and often start the week in a bad mood. Now I feel excited to begin my week with reflection time in community, instead of dragging myself into another stressful week.
Even the little things—like hearing someone share that they stepped outside—made me realize, I can do that too. Just those small nuggets and gems from the group give me light-bulb moments. I know this space is going to be good for me, and I’m really looking forward to learning, connecting, and carving out intentional time for myself."

Background
I named this community The Grove because a grove of trees is resilient, diverse, and interconnected, with each tree standing in its own strength while also part of a living system that supports, nourishes, and shelters one another.
That’s the kind of community I want to grow in together with you.

Testimonials
“This is a community of people who want to live a values-centered life rather than a job-centered life. It's a community of tremendous support, kindness, and zero bullshit. I show up because this community keeps me sane. It continually reminds me that I am not my job and that I can have the life I want.”
“I like knowing others who are in a similar spot in my life and who are looking for space, creativity, embodiment as how to overcome burnout.”
“I love how supportive and caring everyone is. There’s never any vibes of competition or judgment. There’s also usually someone who shares similar experiences or feelings when we’re working through something.”
“I describe our community in some ways as a support group - it's a place I always feel like I can show up as I am and feel seen. It feels incredible to be in a group of people who are interested in challenging the status quo of academic life and who want more from it. It reinforces and supports my own desire to do this life differently.”
